As of 2025, Goldmyer stands as a minimally developed, limited access, wilderness area containing a hot spring which is tucked against the Alpine Lakes. It is privately owned by the Northwest Wilderness Programs nonprofit, though access through reservations are available. There is a limit of 20 visitors per day, with Adults(18-64) $30, Senior(65+) $25, and Children (0-17) free. 8 campsites are also available for reservation, but are limited in access.Â
The area itself requires a moderate hike to access, around 12 miles, though varying based off of which entrance was used. Once at the site, you will be greeted with 3 temperature pools. Reservations need to be made months in advance due to the popularity.Â
