Large spring with a heavy continuous flow of crystal clear water. Bear Lithia Spring is located just off route 340 (East Side Highway) directly behind Bear Lithia Springs Baptist Church shortly after you leave the town of Elkton heading towards Shenandoah, VA.  The road to access the spring is right beside the church.  The church will be on the left side of the road as you turn in off of route 340.  Follow the road on past the church and a short way you will come to a dead end.  The spring is covered by a round-shaped building on the right.  Water can be accessed from a pipe. Dry weather does not seem to phase this spring at all.Â
