Spout Spring has been a local favorite for decades. After the construction of TN Hwy 25, the spring was no longer accessible. Locals installed a pipe across a ravine and Forked Deer Creek to bring the water right alongside the highway. 25 E is a busy highway and care should be exercised when stopping at the spring. It’s not uncommon for there to be others there, so be prepared to wait your turn.
