Description
Deep underground spring emanates from a small cave located on the north hollow trail of the preserve. Produces 200 to 400 gallons per minute year-round.

From Downtown Cookeville (Interstate 40 and Willow Ave SR135) 1) Travel 10 miles north on Willow Ave, SR 135 which becomes Dodson Branch Hwy. 2) Turn left on Zion Road shortly after passing Anita’s Cafe also on the left. 3) Less than half a mile make your first right on Albert Swift Lane 4) At Lone Oak Lane keep to the left continuing on Albert Swift Lane 5) Make your first left onto T-Short Lane and follow it until you get to the bend in the road where you’ll see the mailbox labeled #558 Hobbit Hollows Farm. 6) Park along the side of the road and take the short trail from the mailbox to the office / cabin for an escorted half-mile hike down into the hollows.
