About This Spring

I have been drinking spring water from Wolf’s Den Spring my entire life.  I am unsure if this is the official name, however this is what grandfather Phaon called it every time we collected water from the spring while at his cabin.  The water is delicious but can have a mineral flavor during droughts and dry summers.  Nevertheless, it has never dried out and Grandfather Phaon always said that it is tested every couple of years but I never confirmed this.  Grandfather Phaon also noted that Wolf’s Den Spring has been used by locals for years and was frequented on Sundays by churchgoers when a church was located on Shin Hollow Rd a long time ago.

The spring is located directly off the road and I have seen other’s filling containers quite frequently.  It is located right after an old strip mine and the water currently flows out of a PVC pipe.  Enjoy!
