Willow Creek Hot Springs is a unique semi-remote spot for those who are looking to unwind. There is a general laid-back atmosphere during quiet seasons and there are two main springs to soak in. There are some hikes and areas to explore in the surrounding space, but there is a lack of foliage-shade, so the summers can be especially hot. Though this lack of cover means a perfect space for star gazing and witnessing the sun rise and fall.
There are no amenities, such as drinking water, trash collection, or toiletries, so make sure to come prepared and to leave with everything you brought. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, and tread carefully as snake sightings have been reported.
For the springs themselves, one side sits at around 102 degrees F and the other at a calmer 90 degrees F, though seasons and weather affect these temperatures. Each one is about 30 inches in depth with a rock sand base.
