About This Spring

This spring has been long used by Littleton/Franconia/Sugar Hill locals. It pours fresh and cold into a beautiful iron bowl, likely an old relic from Franconia Iron Furnance smelting days. This was the old stagecoach road, and I understand there was a stagecoach stop near here where this water was used for the refreshment of both passengers and horses in those days.
