Paradise Valley Hot Springs, also known as Little Humboldt Hot Springs, is a free undeveloped and mineral rich spring with a close source and two soaking tubs. The spring is located on private land, but has been graciously opened to the public so make sure to show respect to the land and spring by packing out what you pack in.
The source comes from ‘Diana’s Punchbowl’ at a temperature of 130 degrees F. The overflowing water pours into a creek which then runs into a river where the water is cooled, and then diverted through pipping into the two soaking tubs, one green and one blue. The green tub is located in the river and tends to fill up with sediment-rich water during times of heavy rain. The overflowing river will flood the tub, making it a great spot for cool water soaks during hot summer days. The blue tub has been placed on a wooden platform with a small deck next to it. Because it is not influenced by the rising water of the creek, you will need to wait for the water to cool after filling it from the spout. You can also use buckets to add water from the river to help lower the temperature.
Camping is not permitted in the surrounding area, but there is BLM land across the road where camping is allowed, up to a 14 day limit.
