About This Spring

Devils Cauldron Hot Springs, also known as Diane’s Punchbowl, is an unusable geothermal natural phenomenon. It consists of a well-like depression in the Earth, with a small body of water sitting about 30 feet below the surface. The water is extremely hot, well over 180 degrees F, so soaking is not an option.

The well is on private property, with free access to the well for outsiders so be respectful of the land as you enter and exit.
