Old Faceful was the name of the original spring and this was across the street from where the spring water is now.
There’s a pipe with what looks like a turn on/off valve over what looks like a puddle that might have been part of a stream. It is right by the pump house on Quinnesec-Lake Antoine Rd.
Passed it a few times and always saw people filling up. I think it tends to run dry. The first time we pulled over to try it out there was no water flowing. The second time we stopped (literally three days later) we were able to fill up. Good water but I didn’t have it tested.
