About This Spring

This spring is part of Fumee Lake in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

You want to take Indiana Mine Rd. and park in that parking lot. You will go into the entrance for the trails and then go past the outhouse/bathroom, and turn right onto the very first path. The spring is a short walk and off to the side on the left. We filled up a few times while living in Iron Mountain in August of 2022. The water was great and was one of our favorite spots.

We saw one biker also fill up while we stumbled upon this for the first time.
