Awesome spring in the middle of Kisatchie National Forest located between Natchitoches and Alexandria, LA. Nothing within miles to pollute this water source. Location is very rural. Very normal to encounter “like minded” people who are there to collect multiple gallons of water. Here are the Directions from I49: Take Exit 119 and head WEST on Hwy 119, 5.1 miles. Turn RIGHT on Longleaf Vista and drive 9.9 miles. This is a good, paved road. Then turn LEFT on Kisatchie Bayou Campgroud Road (gravel road #321) and drive .6 miles. Turn RIGHT on gravel road (#380) and go .2 miles. Spring will be on RIGHT running from two pieces of 4″ PVC. Directions are exact when traveling NORTH on I49. May be .1 miles difference to Longleaf Vista when traveling south on I49 due to the southbound exit being on the WEST side of the Interstate. ENJOY!!!
