These geothermal natural pools are located south of Salmon, Idaho and the trail is extremely easy to find (google maps will bring ya right there!). A 2-mile trail will guide you to a mind-blowing, cliff-side, and waterfall-flowing hot spring nestled in the perfect valley. The views are absolutely bonkers! Make sure you arrive well before the sun sets fire to the sky, you won’t be disappointed. Camping is prohibited within 500 feet of the hot springs.
There is some discrepancies regarding the difficulty of the hike with some claiming it’s a breeze and others saying it almost drove them away. Definitely overprepare rather than under, the final view will be worth it. Can be pretty crowded on weekends so it is ideal to go right at or a bit before sunrise on the weekdays if you are looking for a more private soak.
Current coordinates are for the spring location, but entrance to the trail begins here: Goldbug Hot Springs Trailhead, Warm Spring Creek,, Salmon, ID 83467
