Desert Reef is located in the secluded and scenic foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Florence, Colorado, also known as Royal Gorge Country. Offering therapeutic waters, big open skies, tranquility, site specific art installations, and a non-judgemental attitude with a belief in inclusivity. There are multiple pools to relax and reset. Desert Reef is about a 45 minute drive from Colorado Springs and 1.5 hours from Denver.
Water flows out naturally through an artesian well and comes up around 125-135 degrees. It is then cooled by a mixture of air convection and geothermal cooling, this allows for the springs to be at an ideal heat year round.
Reservations are required – so make sure you call ahead and are prepared for the day.
