1.5 miles north of sierra city is a HUGE waterfall coming off the mountain, which is the run off, super clean land, from the spring up the mountain. The source is accessed by continuing down the road past the waterfall, turn left at Big Springs Road, and you will be at a T, go left, up a long and windy road to the very top, eventually you have to walk. there is a little pool, and you will hear, see, smell, feel, taste the water bubbling up from the earth.
