Zurich, Switzerland, has over 1000 drinking fountains in the city. 400 of which run with spring water, which, since earlier times, has been diverted into the city from springs in the surrounding mountains, and passed through a natural sand filter. Other Swiss cities must have as well. You can find maps which show which fountains are spring water, but you’d need to know the local language to be able to google it. The fountain at Limmatplatz is just 1 out of 400 in the city.
