The spring starts from high in the mountains but the whole village of Zaros benefits from it’s water. I had it tested and it has a pH 8. In the village there are various fountains from where you can fill your bottles. Zaros mineral water is sold and considered one of the best waters in Europe. I drink it every day and it tastes lovely. Whenever I leave the island my main concern is to leave my zaros water. All other water tastes strange to me now.
