Locals frequent the Hashirimizu area of Yokosuka city to enjoy the beach, shrine, parks, and the Hashirimizu spring. Located a few meters from the shore of Tokyo Bay, this spring has provided deliciously cool, mineral-rich water for generations. The spring is very accessible, surrounded by a small parking lot (parking fee 200yen), and is also easy to access by bike or foot. Fill up your bottle from the spigots and look out onto Tokyo Bay under the shade of a nearby cherry tree.
