Blackrock Hot Springs is a multi-pool, primitive, remote hot spring lagoon. It it is situated around 80 miles from Gerlach, and one mile from Black Rock Point. It is an extensive drive with variable road condition, so visits during the cold/wet months is not advised. The Springs themselves vary in temperature, but are on the hotter side, with one of the smaller pools, which is also the source, being unusable due to its extreme heat. The two large pools hover around 105 degrees F.
Nearby camping is available, but only at a distance of over 500 feet. Pack in what you pack out. There are no nearby stores or amenities, so plan properly before departure.
