Stuart Hot Springs is said to be a remote, geothermal hot spring which sits within the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. This spring will require an extensive multi-day river backpacking trip to reach. It is important to note the general lack of reporting on this spring, so there is no general information on what to expect condition and temperature wise, and photos are harder to come by.
Weather conditions are very important when attempting this trek, for best results it is advised to travel during the summer. Available information on the spring depicts it sitting alongside a grassy field near Three Links Creek, though its location is weather-dependent. PLAN ACCORDINGLY for this trek, experienced backpackers only.
