Hippy Dip Hot Springs​ is a free and public hot springs along the San Juan River in rock walled hot spring tubs with a sandy bottom. Hippy Dip is all natural pure mineral runoff hot springs water from the adjacent hot springs resort. Hippy Dip Hot Springs comes out of a pvp pipe into rocked walled hot spring tubs with a sandy bottom. The hot springs water is the runoff from the adjacent hot springs resort. The tubs are very primitive and can change according to the river flow. The temperature of the source is 105 degrees. The temperature of the hot spring rock walled tub varies with size and season.
​Hippy Dip Hot Springs is free to the public. If you can’t afford the hot springs resort or if you prefer an all natural setting this is your hot springs. Clothing should be worn because it is so close to the road and bridge. It has been known as the local homeless bath. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs should not go into the hot springs.
