Baumgartner Campground is situated alongside the South Fork Boise River, 11 miles from Featherville, Idaho. The area offers excellent fishing, hiking and off-road vehicle riding opportunities. Baumgartner Hot Springs is located within the campground, where visitors can enjoy soaking in the pool while admiring the scenic, natural setting. Baumgartner Campground Hot Springs is 101-104 degrees water that is piped into a large concrete soaking pool. The temperature depends on the season. The pool is 15- by 20-foot concrete pool and is open during daylight hours and is drained, cleaned and refilled daily. It is is maintained by the Forest Service. The pool is furnished with decking and benches.
