Situated in the San Isabel National Forest and nestled along Chalk Creek, Antero Hot Springs has three accommodations: Hortense Cabin, Cottonwood Cabin & Chalk Cliffs Chalet. Each place has a hand-shaped private hot-spring pool, fed by a mineral-rich hot spring.
Spring water comes from a geothermal source that is created by the uplift of the Rocky Mountains. The nearby Chalk Cliffs form an ancient fault that allows water to circulate deep into the earth and return at 135Ëš degrees and full of minerals. The water has no sulfur smell and flows continually through the pool, creating a sanctuary for your body and mind. The Ute Indians used the healing qualities of this area for hundreds of years.
