Beautiful little spring in an enchanting rhododendron thicket across the road from the Milesburn Cabin (Owned by the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club). Â The spring is accessed by a short trail (15 yards). Â Go just about 20 yards north of the cabin and you’ll find the trail on the opposite side of the road from the cabin. Will likely need a dipper to collect water. Â My kids say its the best water they ever tasted! Just search “Milesburn Cabin” in Google Maps. Â However, the cabin is incorrectly placed south of the Appalachian Trail crossing. Â It is actually on the north side of the crossing.
