This is not a hot spring but a Healing mud bath, there is no option to select healing spring, and it’s not for drinking so i selected hot spring. The story goes that a pig once went in that had rheumatism and it got healed by the mud. People with different physical ailments started to go into the mud as well and they had experienced the healing effect as well. Therefore they built the stone basin around it to mark it and make it easily accessible. I didn’t have an ailment when i went in but i found it very nurturing and grounding.
