Just outside Casterno , towards Carpenzago , surrounded by thick vegetation, including galleries of trees, lies the famous Fontanile Le Tre Fontane. It owes its name to three springs from which flows the purest water in all the seasons of the year.
- The waters of the aquifer , which flow from underground here , meet a waterproof ground, rise and leave the surface. For centuries, the local farmers have brought their animals to drink here and groups of women will have rinsed their laundry speaking to each other . The smooth stones which served for washing remind of a world now gone , but the quiet atmosphere and the pleasant coolness make Le Tre Fontane a corner of paradise .
