About This Spring

Located in the Angelina National forest. Multiple pipes with flowing spring
water which creates a nice little creek. a few of the springs are
bubbling up through some rocks, some are falling from 6-8 feet… it’s
one of the coolest springs I’ve been to in East
Texas. There’s a little 9 acre fishing lake included in the park (no
motor boats allowed) as well as a pavilion and neat little sluice-way
and stepping stone bridges made with rocks. 200 miles of hiking trails,
85 miles of ATV off-road trails, 145 miles of horse trails, 11 miles of
bicycle trails. Campground can hold 74 people. There are some really
nice campsites. Some of the sites are group sites and some are kinda
secluded with their own little spring caps!
it’s a really nice campsite. I think everyone who uses it really helps
keep it picked up and looking good. Always met really nice people out
here. Not a very busy place, usually only a few people around. The spring tastes a bit like sulfur.
