FindASpring Team Update:
As of 2025, Wall Creek Hot Springs is a small, naturally formed pool surrounded by beautiful forest. The main pool is fed by geothermal water and ranges in temperature from 100 to 104 degrees F, though this temperature varies with the season and the weather. There is a smaller pool adjacent to the main, which is referred to as the Meditation Pool. It is smaller and shallower, as well as having a cooler temperature, around 95 to 100 degrees F. It is a popular spot, so for better chances at solitude, it is recommended to visit in the early morning or late afternoon.
The spring is free and requires an easy short hike to access. The trail is called the Wall Creek Trailhead located near the small community of Oakridge Oregon. It is roughly 0.3 miles to the spring and will take around 10 to 15 minutes.
Directions: From Oakridge, take Highway 58 east and turn onto Forest Road 19 (also known as Aufderheide Scenic Drive). Follow Forest Road 19 for about 25 miles, then turn onto a smaller forest road leading to the Wall Creek Trailhead. The trailhead is well-marked, but the road can be rough, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
