A natural fresh water spring at a beautiful beach in Frenchman Bay.
Easiest access to this natural public spring is along the sandy white beach, just several hundred meters away from the parking lot at Frenchman Bay Picnic area. It was first documented by Captain George Vancouver in September 1791, when visiting with his ships Discovery and Chatham, and is still producing fresh water more than two centuries later.
