Accessible only by boat (marine chart 3742), Bishop Bay Hot Springs offers a soothing and remote soaking experience. The spring’s source comes from cracked bedrock and flows into a bathhouse where the soaking spring is located. The spring itself is around 3 meters long and 1 meter deep with a cooler vent, overflow makes its way into a smaller tub located outside of the bathhouse.
Sailing from Ursula channel to Bishop bay is the best route, tying up on either the south side of the bay or at the dock. There is a path which leads directly to the bathhouse, as well as a small campground for an extended stay.
