Khutze Inlet Warm Springs comprises three small, lukewarm springs located about 3 km up the south side of the river near the head of Khutze Inlet, British Columbia, just before the lower end of the rapids. If not found at the marked coordinates, search a few hundred yards upriver, just below the first major southern side creek. The springs have low mineral content, no sulphur smell, and are vulnerable to flooding during high water, making spring or early fall the safest travel times. Reaching the site involves bushwhacking through dense wilderness and prime grizzly territory, especially risky during salmon season. Remnants of a 1920s gold mining railway are visible farther upriver. This is a remote and hazardous trip suitable only for experienced and prepared spring seekers.
